Casio’s new MRG-B5000R has the shape of the classic G-Shock Square, the original G-Shock shock resistant watch but with cutting edge hard materials and a dura soft band with a titanium clasp. The bezel is made of 25 parts which allows precision polishing.
It features advanced functionality including radio updates, bluetooth, a 1/100 stopwatch and tough solar power system that removes the need for battery changes. A full charge will power the watch and use of functions for 10 months (or 22 months when in power saving mode).
The design reflects the colour scheme of the original, with gold accents and buttons, giving a premium look.
The MRG-B5000R is currently available on the UK G-Shock website for £2800.
